WHO COMES TO THIS GREAT COUNTRY TO CONTRIBUTE AND MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR ALL - NOT TO HATE AND DESTROY

WHO COMES TO THIS GREAT COUNTRY TO CONTRIBUTE AND MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR ALL - NOT TO HATE AND DESTROY

My story title comes from a Japanese poem by Toson Shimazaki to describe
a great American; Kiamil Giontzeneli; "Kamil" to his friends.  My desire is
that you spend a few moments reading about one of the most patriotic
Americans I know.
Kamil was born in Albania in 1936.  Following World War II, Communist
Russia controlled Albania and Kamil would watch his parent be beaten
almost to death by brutal Russian soldiers and entire villages massacred.
Kamil and his parents and siblings would be starved to the point of death
and wade bare footed through the puddles of blood of  friends. As a child
he would huddle in terror as Russian tanks bombarded his small village with
cannon and machine gun fire, asking God to spare his brother and sister. He
and his mother would use a small lamp in the cold dark forest near his town
to search thousands of massacred bodies looking for his father.  He would
be beaten by the KGB and forced to serve in this same brutal army as a
slave laborer.  Kamil would escape, using a pistol to kill 15 Russian soldiers
and swim dangerous waters for 9 hours to the freedom and safety of a
Greek ship.  He would make his way to New York, not knowing a word of
English, and beg for work or food, sleeping on the streets at night in a
cardboard box.
Have you heard enough about Kamil's tragic life?  Let us leap-ahead.  In
April of 1960, at the age of 24,  Kamil would be rescued by a Catholic priest
who found him on the streets of the Bowrey; taken-in, clothed, fed, and
treated for the first time in his life like a genuine human being by these men
of God; by these kind, friendly Americans.
Kiamil Giontzeneli would learn English, and obtain his BS, MEE, and Ph.D.
in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (with
honors).  He revolutionized the semi-conductor industry with over 100
scientific patents, grow major corporations, train and manage thousands
upon thousands of scientists to make products to improve YOUR life.
Kamil's brilliant inventions and ideas are translated in several languages in
several books read by scientific experts around the globe. Kiamil would rise
from his cardboard box on the streets of New York to own a large estate in
Scottsdale, Arizona.    But his wealth, fame, and international brilliance are
not important to him.  Kiamil smiles and laughs all the time.  "I am an
American first and a scientist second" Kiamil says, "God, Family, and
America are the three most important things in a man's life."  The gift of
laughter is important in the twinkling eyes of this kind man of warm
greetings and genuine interest.  Creating jobs for people with his ideas and
inventions are not as important to him as his love for America.  His mind
thrives on more knowledge of our great founders, our Constitution, our
ability as a nation to defeat tyrants, feed the global hungry and lead the
world.
I have never met a person with more unbridled pride, spirit and
thankfulness in being American than Kiamil.  His home is filled with
photographs of Presidents and our flag.  He ends most of his conversations
with "I love my country; America".
Kiamil is my dear friend and I am writing his life story in a book titled:
From Hell To Heaven".  I would like you to think of Kiamil the next time you
hear of angry or disgruntled illegal immigrants refusing to learn English, or
hinting that their old country was "better", or demanding "rights" which
they have not earned, or waving their flag instead of our Stars and Stripes.
I would like you to remember my friend the next time a cultist Muslim tells
you they are "offended" by our food, culture or God.  Remind the predatory
Islamist they are free to leave your country, and make room for more Kiamil
Giontzeneli's, who will raise patriotic American citizen children that strive
not only for excellent demanding educations, but strive to be successful
employers and contributors to their communities.    Kiamil and his family are
what make my country great, not some infidel/Jew hating moon god
worshipper who contributes nothing but expects everything including the
demise of my sovereign nation, the country Kiamil sacrificed everything to
reach.
Give thought today, to the Kiamil's who belong to this melting pot we call
America.  Imagine for one split-second their sacrifice to get here and their
contributions and patriotism since.
